The “shorter” sister of our Amalfi long dress, this design is a feminine take on classic shirting styles. The voluminous skirt contrasts playfully with the crisp collar and neatly folded cuffs. The yellow crochet on the edges is hand made and adds a playful touch, making this dress transition from day to dinner in no time.
The Ikat version is made with Saheli Women who is a nonprofit, sustainable clothing manufacturer and ethical fashion social enterprise in rural Rajasthan, India. Located in the village of Bhikamkor, Saheli Women employs 28 women, providing them with fair wages, health insurance coverage, and a safe work environment free from gender, religious and caste discrimination.
When our Creative Director Isabella went there she fell in love with this left over fabric and during lockdown they produced a total 8 dresses up-cycling this light and breezy Ikat fabric.
