ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Created in 2019, after long months of research and development, the first collection L'Été 2020 sees the light of day in March 2020.
Behind Initial S is Melody Prieto, a 29-year-old French model and entrepreneur. After studying communication, she seizes an opportunity. Dior, Calvin Klein, Balmain, Gucci or Prada: in 6 years, she has modeled for the greatest designers and posed for many magazines such as Vogue, New-York Times, W and Love.
Now, she has one goal in mind: to create the ideal bathrobe.
THE STORY BEHIND THE BRAND
The birth of Initial S is a desire to return to the roots of this essential piece.
A modern, timeless and responsible brand for a quality beach wardrobe at a reasonable price.
Initial S wishes to retranscribe the beauty and strength inspired by the sea, the sun, the warm sand and the sky by creating a collection of swimwear close to nature and the body.
A pure, elegant line with a sensual and sporty look.
The body is highlighted with all its small defects assumed and without artifice: its scars, its stretch marks, its skin texture, its shapes.
THE FREEDOM OF THE BODY
We have designed each swimsuit to sublimate the woman.
Soft and sheathing, they slim the silhouette while preserving comfort.
Designed to fit perfectly, they magnify the body.
INITIAL S CYCLE OF PRODUCTION
All Initial S swimsuits are designed in France in a specialized workshop near Lyon.
Concerned about quality, environment and human conditions, Initial S has turned to French know-how to meet its requirements.
Initial S is committed to working with noble materials.
Certified OEKO-TEX®, all our fabrics are made in Italy in a sustainable and responsible way.

The swimwear dries quickly and has UV protection as well as resistance to sun creams and oils.
Oeko-Tex®: certifies the non-toxicity of fabrics and dyes from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing process.
